Senior Project Director, Global Clinical Operations

Description The primary focus of the GCO Projects Senior Director is to manage & develop the direct reports within the department and ensure that the department objectives are met and implemented. This position is the overall accountable for all GCO Portfolio activities & deliverable and is expected to drive performance as per the defined GCO Management KPIs. Accountable and responsible for setting the direction and develop new standards for the way of working for GCO Leads in the R&D project portfolio including clinical operational financial management. Roles and Responsibilities: Define, maintain and implement mission, vision, customer focus and service deliverables for the department Translate the Global R&D strategy into a tactical direction on how GCO Leads interacts in R&D projects and portfolios Follow up on department objectives to ensure they are met and strategies are implemented Set targets, prioritize objectives and implement initiatives for the department Communicate decisions and initiatives within the department and in cooperation with stakeholders Provide employees with the needed support to drive performance and job satisfaction Accountable for the GCO Leads (Clinical Operation Leads and Biostatistical Leads and GCO Business Lead) Accountable and responsible for the GCO Project budget Set and manage budget for internal and external cost relating to GCO R&D projects Responsible for participating in GCO Leadership Team meetings Provide input to startegy and activities for GCO Actively participate, and drive discussions and implementation of management processes and leadership topics People Management Accountable and responsible for people managing direct reports Accountable for building strategic drug development and clinical operational capabilities as well as project management, business and knowledge sharing capabilities in the department Accountable and responsible for securing input to the GCO Project budget in relation to the department's activities Accountable for enhancing development and business understanding and ways to transfer it into GCO activities in the department Accountable for securing the necessary training and development of employees in the department Accountable for hiring and dismissing employees in the department Accountable and responsible for nominating employees for salary/bonus/career level adjustments Accountable and responsible for conducting PDD, performance appraisal, APV and 1:1s Required Skills: Academic degree in life science 10+ years of experienceworking within drug development Strong knowledge on Pharma and drug development Solid understanding of operational excellence and process improvement Structured and systemic approach to working Good communication and presentation skills Cultural awareness Fluent in English, both verbal and written Passionate, self-motivated, ambitious and result-driven Act with integrity Motivate, challenge and inspire employees Trust and empower employees Focused on accomplishing goals Proactive and decision making Strong communicator and collaborator Robust and adaptable to change Ability to prioritize Outgoing, dynamic and customer-focused

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
