HR Assistant

  • Act as a liaison between teams within the HR Operations department
  • Maintain employee files in company electronic filing system
  • Consolidate and provide employee information to the Legal department for all subpoenas
  • Review employment eligibility and follow up with appropriate parties to ensure completion
  • Track completion of Code of Ethics training
  • Complete regular audits of various HR documentation and policies
  • Update eTime accrual information
  • Send UPS documents to employees as required by state law
  • Processes paperwork received from HR partners for personnel transactions in Oracle HRIS including but not limited to new hires, promotions, salary adjustments, transfers, supervisor changes and terminations of employment ensuring all documentation is accurate and appropriate approvals were obtained prior to submission
  • Processes eVerify on new hires in timely manner; works with HR partners when discrepancies are returned
  • Follows up with employees where local tax forms are required to ensure appropriate local tax form is complete and submitted
  • Answer general employee questions in a shared HR mailbox
  • Maintain a log of all pending new hires and follow up for paperwork completion
  • Create process training guides for both HR and general employees
  • Provide ad hoc payroll and project support as needed
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, or experience in related area is preferred.
  • Minimum 1 years of human resources experience.
  • Experience within HR environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of general HR administration theory, principles, and practices.
  • Detail-oriented, extremely organized and flexible/adaptive to a fast-paced business environment.
  • Must possess strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
  • Strong service orientation.
  • Possess a positive, professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills and will be a self-starter seeing projects through to completion.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
