HR Business Partner

Summary:Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources for Corporate Services, as a strategic HR professional, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with human capital strategies and implementation with client groups. The HRBP serves as a consultant to line management on Human Resource related areas such as organizational design, employee relations, team effectiveness, employee engagement, leadership coaching and workforce planning. Further, the HRBP will partner with Human Resources Centers of Excellence to ensure enterprise practices are deployed and fully integrated with the business in the areas of talent management, compensation, employee development, talent acquisition and HRIS. The successful HRBP will act as both an employee advocate and change agent supporting Realogy s Corporate functional departments which include Finance, Legal, Technology and the Strategy Office. The HRBP will continuously assess and anticipate HR-related needs and work with line management on relevant HR solutions. The HRBP develops meaningful partnerships across the business to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the strategic focus and financial position, its value proposition, culture and competitive landscape.
Responsibilities:

  • Partner with line management and engage with employee populations to drive best in class HR solutions that enhance overall retention and productivity.
  • Influential partner in driving best solutions for all aspects of employee lifecycle.
  • Through ongoing, effective consultation, deploy HR enterprise strategy to client group.
  • Conduct frequent meetings with respective clients and employees.
  • Consult with line management providing proactive HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with specialist teams to develop Human Capital solutions, programs and policies as appropriate.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.
  • Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve overall work environment, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Assist and facilitate opportunities for growth for promotions, transfers and equity adjustments.
  • Involvement in global talent acquisition, management of employees and consultants as client group needs dictate.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning and realignment.
  • Identify training needs for employees and individual client coaching needs.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a corporate HR department with an emphasis on resolution of complex employee relation issues
  • Bachelor s Degree preferred
  • PHR Certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including organizational development, management coaching and consultation, compensation practices, talent attraction, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
