The Financial Analyst position will provide analysis, valuation, and modeling of real estate organizations for the purpose of acquisition by Realogy. This role will also entail various other strategic projects and modeling to further Realogy's corporate development. From time to time, this role will also be involved in various strategic projects to further Realogy's business intelligence and corporate development goals. This position will engage directly with senior management, finance, sales, and other key executives.
Responsibilities
Generate detailed research reports.
Analyze financial and operating information.
Determine existing and synergistic value of real estate organizations nationwide.
Project total capital expenditures and return on investment.
Work directly with target company owners and key leaders to develop thorough understanding of their operation.
Coordinate due diligence and preparation of closing documents.
Work closely with senior management and market leaders.
Develop understanding of contract terms (including price, contingency payments, non-competition agreements, and tax allocation) for both asset and stock purchases.
Constructs thorough, effective, and timely analytic reports both on our various existing business units and on competitors and outside forces, combining in-depth written summaries with detailed financial and operational information and tables
Leads various analytic projects that cross all three areas of the group:
Business Intelligence, Competitive Research, and Mergers & Acquisitions, with the ability to occasionally dedicate entirety of efforts to any one group as needs arise
Facilitates consistent, organization-wide sharing of analytic findings (through written reports, charts and graphs, speaking, and formal presentations)
Formulates new analytic methods that respond to a dynamic market environment
Establishes and prioritizes responsibilities and objectives relative to field and corporate goals
Job Requirements

years' in financial analysis, competitive analysis, or relevant residential real estate industry or franchise experience. Mergers & acquisitions experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree required.
Must be organized, industrious, analytical, and have strong communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Excel. Working knowledge of other MS programs and various financial and accounting programs
Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access (or other databasing tools) and PowerPoint. Ability and willingness to learn new tools.

Must be articulate with effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to translate technical details of complex dynamics into consumable and actionable intelligence for both senior executives and field staff

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
