Summary:
The President & CEO is responsible for setting the global brand strategy and leading a growing network of independent brokers and sales associates. This position will be responsible for setting stretch growth goals and objectives for Century 21 internationally to include all constituents (brokers, managers & agents) as well as internal corporate staff. In addition, the position will be responsible for enhancing the overall strategic servicing model for franchisees and fostering business development and growth opportunities for our customers. The position will also focus on increasing the business production and profitability of the international broker network.
Specific responsibilities include setting the strategic direction for multiple brand verticals to include: global servicing efforts, operations and marketing for Century 21 Real Estate, LLC, the largest Real Estate Franchise in the world. The President & CEO will set strategies for long term sustainable growth (both organic and new affiliation) of our existing and new franchise system members and strategies to continuously improve the brand's global market positioning. The core responsibilities include, but are not limited to, strategic planning, implementing and executing the strategies for domestic and international organic growth, creating methods of accountability to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability and oversight of global marketing strategies to drive leads to our customers and optimize on the strong brand awareness and preference levels and ensuring alignment with overall Realogy Franchise Group Business Unit and Realogy enterprise at large. This includes the direct accountability for the Brand Marketing Fund (BMF) and management of over 150 corporate employees and leadership of over 50,000 industry constituents.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of both short term (1 year) and long term (5
year) strategic business plans, managing and developing corporate staff members, ensuring accountability and metrics to manage success.
Create brand vision for leading an through an industry in transition focusing on growth markets, innovation and unique first to market opporutnities.
Execution of both short and long term business plans to achieve maximum business results.
Oversee the direction and success, impact and results of all internal departments to include Marketing, Operations and Field Services.
Partner with the Senior Vice President of Operations, Realogy Franchise Group and other Shared Services Leaders to execute business initiatives through the centers of excellence model.
Partner and align with the Executive Vice President, Franchise sales to set the strategic direction for growing broker network.
Address national broker network at regional and national events to discuss innovation, annual initiatives, growth goals and progress toward plan.
Fiscal responsibilities to ensure execution of brand strategy within forecasted budget.
Ensure appropriate systems and business practices are in place to maintain multiple levels of contact and close relationship with all customers.
Keep abreast and convey residential real estate business trends to affiliate network and internal corporate departments.
Manage successful relationships and insure integration with the brand specific and various shared services departments.
Lead and motivate internal corporate departments and customers within Century 21 to achieve targets.
Consult with large, individual franchisees on office and company issues such as Mergers & Acquisitions, growth, market share and industry challenges/opportunities.
Aid in large franchise sales acquisitions.
Ensure 100% renewal rate with Century 21 Brokers as deemed appropriate.
Manage and develop senior leadership team.
Participate as an active member of the Business Units Senior Leadership Team and the company's Operating Committee.
Minimum
Qualifications:
BA, BS Required; MBA Preferred
Senior real estate executive with a minimum of 15 years in brokerage operations, real estate franchising or consulting
15
years in a sales/decision influencing environment preferred
Background in business, finance and/or consulting services
Ability to travel 50%
Negotiation skills and ability to influence and persuade
Knowledge of competitors servicing models required
Strong talent development experience leading large, distributed teams
Even-temper and conflict resolution skills required
Stellar platform skills
Leadership competencies to include: Building Capability, Driving Accountability, Strategic Thinking and Innovation
Followership Leadership style preferred
Proven success with organic revenue growth
Experience and comfort operating in a multi-brand environment
Exceptional communication skills
