The trade relations manager is responsible for bolstering company consumer healthcares status and presence in the minds of retail trade and coordinating alignment and efficient planning of sales force industry activities, ensuring compliance with company policy. The position primarily supports sales and sales strategy, with additional support to legal and marketing. Primary responsibilities include leading strategic planning, implementation and management of $1,000,000
budget for domestic trade shows within the consumer area and offering internal clients experienced project management, creative solutions, technical coordination and logistic supervision and planning to successfully strategize, create, plan and execute and customer meeting, customer event, or trade show and collaborating with cross functional areas to create ads for several trade publications to reinforce our messaging. Ensure all activities are compliant within company corporate policies. Secure cost efficiencies by leveraging broader organizational contacts with key vendors. Improve the organization and process skills in our key customer planning and interactions. Improve on-time and within budget trade show operations by managing vendors, maximizing shipping and storage costs. Forge relationships with other divisions of the company that enable more cost effective negotiations of joint contracts for exhibit space and vendor products. Increase trade show reach by negotiating with our pharmaceutical division for free space in return for sampling. Maximize costs efficiency by realizing opportunities to leverage existing inventory. Manage details relative to trade show program and associated projects. Coordinate with internal stakeholder to make sure needs are met; develop and implement marketing and logistic tactics. Recapp meeting details and distribute to team at conclusion and schedule debriefs. Manage all GES production, show service and delivery details prior to the show including following up with design, I&D and show services to ensure timelines and deliverables are achieved. Coordinate all shop related work by maintaining communications with project managers, finance as appropriate. Communicate show specific information with the I&D supervisor or set-up person prior to show set up. Manage and track all related show shipments to ensure delivery. Review invoices against proposal to determine variances and investigating unexplained variances to determine accuracy. Review I&D post show change orders and write up and communicate issues and implement change as necessary for improvement. Monitor job costs in order to effectively manage trade show budget. Develop the annual trade show budget and present to VP of sales and finance to retain current budget and grow business.
Requirements
Account management sales experience in CPG environment, influencing in a matrix environment, comprehensive knowledge of CPG Industry, headquarter experience. Indicate the technical skills required and/or preferred, as applicable. Proficient in microsoft office
