Seeking an Information Security Architect Director, Morristown, NJ, Full-Time.
BridgeView IT is seeking an Information Security Architect (ISA) Director. The role is located in Morristown, NJ. It is a full-time opportunity. The Information Security Architect Director is responsible for ensuring that the design of business solutions meets business, security and compliance needs. The ISA partners with Corporate and Business Unit stakeholders to securely achieve the functional requirements of business initiatives and help ensure a secure IT infrastructure. The ISA is the technical authority on information security architecture within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Works closely with the CISO, Enterprise Architecture and the Infrastructure, Operations and Information Security teams to establish the organizations strategic security architecture vision including standards that address the organizations current and emerging security and compliance needs that are aligned with the business.
Reviews existing architecture, identifies design gaps, and recommends security enhancements.
Participates in solution architecture design; leads security efforts assisting with the integration and initial implementation of solutions.
Achieve security architecture compliance on requirements, including: Sarbanes-Oxley, Payment Card Industry standards as well as state and federal regulations.
Serve as Information Security subject matter expert; provide advisory and consulting services as needed.
Understand current as well as emerging security threats and design the security architecture to protect the organization from those events.
Stays current with new security technologies and integrate into security architecture design when appropriate.
Ability to educate management on the security risk implications associated with particular business decisions and effectively communicates the likelihood and impact of those decisions so management can fully quantify those risks.
Ability to drive processes in a collaborative manner, obtain clear requirements, analyze and articulate risk, identify issues and alternatives and recommend solutions commensurate with risk.
Required Skills/
Experience:
Minimum 8 years' experience in Information Security with expert level knowledge of security principles and technical experience designing and implementing security solutions.
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience. Security and control certification required (CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP preferred)
Requires critical thinking, excellent analytical ability, consultative skills, strong judgment and the ability to deliver high performance and high levels of customer satisfaction in a matrix managed environment.
Requires outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills to effectively translate and communicate complex technical information and risk to all levels of internal and external organizations.
Demonstrate broad skills across Information Security disciplines including Endpoint Security, Data Base Security, Network Security, Identity and Access Management, Mobility and Cloud Security.
Strong facilitation skills and the ability to build strong relationships with business unit stakeholders.
Able to influence and guide individuals at all levels in the organization.
Well organized with excellent follow up skills to meet deadlines, coordinates work of others while fostering team work and cooperation; able handle multiple concurrent tasks.
